US-based cloud service proivder Acumatica has secured $13.3m in a series D round led by Australia-based software producer MYOB.
Venture capital firms Runa Capital and Almaz Capital also participated in the round, alongside business software and IT consultancy firm Visma. The funding brings the total raised by the company to over $30m.
Acumatica provides cloud business management software for small-to-medium sized businesses. The new funds will support the company’s growth and expansion plans.
Jon Roskill, chief executive of Acumatica, said: “The investment will allow us to implement aggressive growth plans in three areas: Broadening our product line; accelerating the expansion and enablement of our partner ecosystem; and upsizing our brand in a big way.”
Acumatica raised $10m in a November 2013 series C round backed by Runa Capital and Almaz Capital, after receiving an undisclosed amount of funding from Visma in 2011.
