TransTech USA merges with Clareo

Two US-based consultancy firms specializing in innovation and corporate venturing have merged to form Clareo Partners.

The integration of TransTech USA with Clareo adds consultants in natural resources, energy and clean technology to Clareo’s work with consumer packaged goods and technology companies, such as Kraft, Hewlett Packard, Alticor, Fulton Innovation and Zaharoff.

Rob Wolcott, another of the partners at Clareo and executive director of Kellogg Innovation Network at Northwestern University, said: "We have collaborated for many years through the Kellogg Innovation Network, where Peter is a senior fellow and board member.

Peter Bryant (pictured), founder of TransTech and now one of four managing partners at Clareo, said: "Clareo and Kellogg Innovation Network helping companies grow through innovation and there is increasing understanding of corporate venturing and the role it plays in innovation. There is convergence in the US and round the world of how corporate venturing should be embedded in an overall innovation strategy, not just used to search for new technology and a financial return."
