Germany-based enterprise software provider SAP has held its first demo day for female-led businesses at the SAP.io Foundry accelerator subsidiary located in New York City, USA.
The SAP.io Foundries initiative, which was launched in April this year, offers participating startups mentoring and access to the corporate’s technology. In addition to New York, there are branches in the cities of Paris, Berlin, Tel Aviv, New York City and San Francisco.
The participants showcasing their technology included blockchain health data platform developer Amberdata, augmented reality software developer CN2, text analysis startup DMetrics and artificial intelligence-infused marketing platform Lately.
The list was rounded out by digital architecture software developer Narrativ, cybersecurity technology startup NopSec, retail management platform developer StyleSage, fashion materials sourcing service SundAR and video technology provider Ziggeo.
Deepak Krishnamurthy, SAP’s chief strategy officer, said: “SAP.io Foundry in New York City is helping women and minority entrepreneurs scale their startups in the competitive environment of B2B technology.”
