One of the corporate venturing units of International Data Group has reportedly backed file sharing company Minus with a $1m seed investment.
The file sharing company had previously raised $200,000, of which $117,000 was spent purchasing the site’s domain name, according to news provider All Things Digital.
The website was founded in October 2010 and one of its two founders, Xie Hu, said to All Things Digital it expected to raise more funds in a year or so.
