Bertelsmann Asia Investments, a corporate venturing subsidiary of media group Bertelsmann, has joined venture capital group IDG Capital to invest $30m in China-based artificial intelligence startup Ringle.ai, China Money Network has reported.
Founded in February 2018, Ringle is developing a secure data transfer and management system that utilises artificial intelligence-based scheduling and blockchain technology.
The company had some $73m in registered capital at the time of its incorporation, according to China Money Network.
