Jen Kodner has left mass media group Comcast’s corporate venture capital unit, Comcast Ventures where she worked at head of talent since February 2018, to join venture capital firm Draper Fisher Jurvetson as a talent partner.
Kodner has bought her nine-month stint at Comcast Ventures to end and will now be responsible for working with DFJ’s portfolio companies to identify and recruit new executives as they scale.
Prior to Comcast, she worked as a partner on the executive talent team at venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz for nearly two years.
Kodner had previously spent over four years at cloud content management company Box, one of DFJ’s portfolio companies, where she worked as part of the recruitment team for the company pre and post IPO.
DFJ said in a statement: “Jen is a seasoned addition to our team, and we are excited to offer her expertise and network to our companies through every phase of their growth.”
