Singapore-based healthcare data management platform developer Klinify has been acquired by existing investor and healthcare services provider Zuellig Pharma for an undisclosed sum.
Founded in 2011, Klinify has created a cloud-based software platform that helps medical clinics effectively digitise the management of patient records and other healthcare documents. Its software includes a predictive analytics-driven tool that helps identify patients due for a checkup, as well as a number of features that support billing and inventory management.
The company will continue working on the platform following the acquisition, which aligns with Zuellig’s efforts to assemble a digital healthcare ecosystem in Asia. Zuellig supplied Klinify with an undisclosed amount of funding in May 2017 as part of a deal that gave Klinify access to the corporate’s inventory ordering and management services.
Klinify had already secured about $600,000 in a 2014 seed round led by venture capital firm Jungle Ventures, having previously received $19,000 in funding when it joined accelerator JFDI.Asia the yera before.
