Traction Guest, a Canada-based developer of smart visitor-management systems, has closed a $13m series A round that included Salesforce Ventures, the corporate venturing subsidiary of customer relationship management software producer Salesforce.
Venture capital firm Bessemer Venture Partners led the round. Traction Guest was one of four Canadian companies to have received an undisclosed amount from Salesforce’s Canada Trailblazer Fund when it was launched in May 2018.
Founded in 2015, Traction Guest has created a system that helps businesses manage external visitors. They can customise the sign-in process for different groups, and the product offers visual identification and e-signature tools.
Keith Metcalfe, Traction Guest’s chief executive, said: “We are focused on taking visitor management beyond the lobby to create a connected, secure enterprise.
“Customers are choosing Traction Guest because of our unmatched customisation, security and scalability. We are committed to investing in the best technology and talent to build a platform that helps enterprises protect their people and data.”
