US-based time scheduling software developer Clockwise has received $11m in a series A round that incuded enterprise communication software provider Slack, TechCrunch has reported.
The round was co-led by Accel and Greylock with participation from SV Angel and private investors Michael Ovitz, Ellen Levy, George Hu, Soraya Darabi and Jay Simons. Slack participated through its investment subsidiary, Slack Fund.
Founded in 2016, Clockwise produces learning learning-based software that connects to a user’s work calendar to coordinate multiple schedules. The technology learns preferences such as the user’s working hours and desired lunch time to help manage their time more effectively.
The company’s customers include ride hailing service Lyft, workflow software provider Asana, social networking platform Twitter, customer messaging app developer Intercom and online tutoring platform Coursera.
Clockwise has now raised $13m in overall funding, the company said, though it has not disclosed any previous funding rounds.
