Rhumbix, a US-based construction operation mobile application provider backed by design software producer Autodesk, has completed a $14.3m series B round.
Venture capital firms Blackhorn Ventures and Tenfore Holdings co-led the round, investing together with Greylock, S28 Capital, South Park Ventures and Glynn Capital. It has now raised more than $30m altogether.
Founded in 2014, Rhumbix produces cloud software that helps constructors digitise their tasks, enhancing productivity and manpower organisation.
Zach Scheel co-founder and chief executive of Rhumbix, said: “Our platform significantly decreases the administrative time required to collect, analyse and draw insights from field data, while also increasing the quality and accuracy of data collected and enabling end-to-end digital workflows.”
The company secured $8m in an August 2018 round led by Autodesk’s Forge Fund, after raising $7.4m in a Blackhorn Ventures-led series A the year before that featured Greylock, Brick & Mortar Ventures, S28 (then known as Spectrum 28), Glynn Capital and Kiddar Capital.
UJ Ventures, Brick & Mortar Ventures and Stanford University professor Ray Levitt were among Rhumbix’s early backers, providing $1m in seed capital in 2014.
