The Israel-based mobile hardware company previously backed by Motorola could reportedly be bought by chipmakers such as Intel, Qualcomm and Infineon for between $100m to $150m.
DesignArt Networks is in talks for an exit , according to news provider Globes today.
DesignArt was backed by telecoms company Motorola in its series B round in 2008. The size of that round was undisclosed, but Globes said DesignArt has raised $30m in venture funding in its history.
Other backers of the company include Carmel Ventures and Magma Venture Partners, as well as debt provider Plenus Lending Solutions.
DesignArt was founded in 2006 and provides hardware for 3G and 4G mobile equipment.
