InnoHub inhales corporate funding

Mexico-based company builder InnoHub has raised MX$250m ($12.8m) from investors including Banco Santander México, a regional subsidiary of financial services firm Santander, Entrepreneur has reported.

Financial technology producer Contpaqi also participated in the round, together with undisclosed partners. InnoHub had not disclosed details of any earlier funding.

Founded in 2015, InnoHub concentrates on forming and developing fintech companies, and its startups will now be able to access Santander Avantti, a technology package developed by the bank which is not yet commercially available.

Areas InnoHub is exploring include digital insurance and banking, tax management and payroll-based loans, all of which are intended to benefit small and medium-sized enterprises.
