Razor’s Edge Ventures, a venture capital firm run by senior executives of US-based defence contractor Blackbird Technologies, has helped Near Infinity, a software development services company, raise $17m.
Razor’s Edge was joined in the round by venture firm Columbia Capital.
Near Infinity is a software development for the federal market working on cloud and big data analytics, mobile security and trusted applications. It was founded in 2002.
Near Infinity has also appointed Richard Upton as president. Upton has previously worked at companies including BBN Technologies, Alphatech and Tasc.
