Activ Surgical, a US-based surgical tool, has raised $11m in its series A round from a consortium including Sony Innovation Fund, a corporate venturing unit of Japan-based electronics company Sony.
DNS Capital, the private investment office for Gigi Pritzker Pucker, Michael Pucker and their immediate family, led the A round, which also included GreatPoint Ventures (GPV), Tao Capital Partners, Rising Tide Financial, WS Investment Company and Mintz.
