Additiv finds ingredients for funding

Additiv, a Switzerland-based provider of digitalisation technology for the financial services industry, has secured CHF21m ($21.6m) in a round co-led by financial services firm BZ Bank.

The round was co-led by Patinex, an investment vehicle for banker Martin Ebner. The company has not publicly revealed any earlier funding.

Founded in 1998, Additiv has built a software offering called Digital Finance Suite that functions as a digital development and operating platform for customer such as banks, asset managers or insurance firms.

Michael Stemmle, Additiv’s founder and CEO, said: “This funding will finance our international expansion and help strengthen our management team.

“It will also fuel our production of cutting edge [software-as-a-service]/cloud based products that ensure our clients are ahead of the curve. It really is crunch time for the sector and this funding allows us to be at our best when our clients need us most.”
