Sweden-based real estate marketing software developer Adfenix has received $6m in a series A round featuring IT outsourcing firm Goodfellows.
Industrifonden and Notion Capital co-led the round, which included fellow venture capital firm Starbright Invest.
Adfenix has built a marketing platform for the real estate industry that can widen the reach of estate agents. Its features include a social network plug-in that utilises the online contacts of the homeowner to drum up networking buzz about the property on offer.
The technology is currently used by more than 85 property agents, including real estate firms Sotheby’s International Realty, Re/Max and Harcourts.
The series A round, which represents Adfenix’s first institutional funding, will allow it to expand in the Nordic countries, the UK and Australia. It intends to move into the US and other European markets in 2018.
Gabriel Kamienny, co-founder of Adfenix, said: “We are equipping real estate agents and their clients with the power to sell and buy homes easier and quicker.
“I truly believe that the real estate agents of tomorrow are all going to be tech-enabled, and we want to help both traditional agencies to make this leap as well as boosting the new class of hybrid online agencies with their value proposition.”
