AdStage reaches next level with $6.3m series A

US-based advertising management platform AdStage raised $6.3m on Wednesday in a series A round featuring Verizon Ventures, the strategic investment arm of telecommunications company Verizon, and internet company and incubator Digital Garage.

The round also included software company Guidewire, marketing automation software company Eloqua, venture capital firms Newbury Ventures and Freestyle Capital, and two private investors.

AdStage has developed a platform that enables small businesses to run advertising campaigns, and recently launched the Automated Rules app, which allows advertisers to automate campaign management across platforms that can be run in the background for 24 hours a day.

The new funding will allow Adstage to expand its team and move into bigger headquarters as the company continues to integrate into major advertising networks.

AdStage raised $2.5m in seed funding in February 2014 from backers inlcuding Digital Garage, Freestyle Capital, Quest VP, 500 Startups and XG Ventures
