AirWalk Communications, a US-based developer of communications equipment, has raised two-thirds of its latest $15m round.
In a regulatory filing, AirWalk said eight investors had provided $10m.
In July, AirWalk hired Roger Dorf, former Cisco Systems vice president after its acquisition in 2007 of Navini Networks where he had been chief executive, as its executive chairman.
AirWalk’s previous rounds raised $5m last year and $15m in October 2006 from venture capital firms Sevin Rosen Funds, TL Ventures, Alta Berkeley and Duchossois Technology Partners.
It’s A round raised $8m in December 2003 from TL Ventures and the $100m Korean Global IT Fund, which is managed by STIC Ventures.
