Binary Event Network (BEN), a US-based platform that lets users buy and sell sports event outcomes based on real-time information while watching live games, has raised an undisclosed amount of first-round funding from a consortium including trading corporation Cinnober Financial Technology.
The other investors were venture investors Guggenheim Partners and Broadhaven Capital Partners.
The company’s first live-event product, TradeSports – which is available on iTunes – is a social sports trading application that provides a marketplace for users to buy and sell sports teams on real-time information while watching live games.
