US-based Altia Systems, maker of a panoramic high-definition camera called PanaCast, which provides a 200-degree field of vision, has closed a series B round led by Intel Capital, chipmaker Intel’s investment unit.
Altia had previously raised $6.7m, from backers including US-based venture capital firm Naya Ventures. The company will use the latest funding to further development of the PanaCast Experience, a product which consists of the PanaCast camera, as well as dedicated apps and integrated cloud services.
Aurangzeb Khan, CEO of Altia Systems, said: “Working with Intel Capital will help us further develop the PanaCast Experience and advance the underlying technology roadmap faster and more efficiently, particularly for enterprise customers.”
