AOL’s CrunchFund plants seed in CumuLogic

Cumulogic, a Santa Clara, California-based provider of platform solutions, has raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding thanks to CrunchFund, a venture firm set up with the backing of technology company AOL.

In September last year, US virtual computing provider Citrix invests an undisclosed sum in Cumulogic.

According to multiple reports, the company has raised about $1m to date.

The company intends to use the capital to build out its sales channels.

Founded in 2010 and led by CEO Michael Soby, Cumulogic provides platform solutions which enable enterprises and cloud providers to build and manage Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and cloud services on public, private and hybrid clouds.
