India-based mobile video content company Apalya Technologies has raised $7.5m from a consortium including its two corporate venturing backers of its undisclosed series A round agreed three months earlier.
Venture capital firm IndoUS Venture Partners joined the series B round as a new investor alongside repeat backers IDG Ventures India and Qualcomm Ventures.
IDG, which is the India partnership for US media group International Data Group, and US technology provider Qualcomm previously invested $3m in Apalya in October, according to news provider Business Standard.
