AppLift, a mobile games marketing platform backed by Germany-based company builder HitFox Group, has raised $13m from venture capital and growth equity firm Prime Ventures in its series A funding round.
AppLift will use the funds to further invest in its marketing and monetization platform and to accelerate global expansion.
Jan Beckers, chief executive of HitFox Group, said: “With the new funding AppLift has everything required to become one of Berlin`s biggest success stories.”
AppLift was founded in 2012 by HitFox Group, Kaya Taner and Tim Koschella.
HitFox was founded in 2011 by entrepreneurs Jan Beckers, Hanno Fichtner, Tim Koschella and Ruben Haas in cooperation with venture capital firm Team Europe Ventures. Investors include corporation-backed venture capital firm HV Holtzbrinck Ventures and Heiko Hubertz (founder of BigPoint.com).
