AppTweak accepts $22m from Rossel

Media company Group Rossel provided $22m in series B funding for AppTweak, the Belgium-headquartered developer of an app store optimisation (ASO) platform, yesterday.

AppTweak offers app developers and mobile game publishers insights into how they can improve their performance in app stores. The company said it has been profitable since 2017 having introduced 50 new features in 2020.

The company revealed it had previously received a total of $1m in seed capital, half of which was supplied by Group Rossel, Go Beyond and Be Angels in 2015.

Olivier Verdin, AppTweak’s co-founder and chief executive, said: “Today marks a big milestone for AppTweak. We are ready to accelerate growth worldwide and expand our services.

“With offices in Brussels, San Francisco, Tokyo and Bengaluru, we aim to open at least two or three new locations this year and plan to build a global presence in the next three years. We are very excited to take this journey with Rossel who has supported us since the early stages.”
