Watchwith, a US-based television sync-to-broadcast content management and syndication platform, has completed $5m series A funding led by venture capital firm Rogers Venture Partners, with participation from early stage investors, communications technology company Arris (formerly Motorala Mobility) and music and video database company Gracenote.
Mike Lee, general partner at Rogers Venture Partners, said: “Watchwith is a clear leader in consumer engagement around multi-screen television, solving significant problems for broadcasters and TV networks worldwide, and laying the foundations for significant new revenue streams from their programming.”
Zane Vella, founder and chief executive officer of Watchwith, said: “Our role is to turn the viewer’s attention, curiosity, and desire into action, and for that action to unlock new revenue for the programmer.”
