The strength of China deal activity was made clear in the exit league table.
The acquisition of China-based digital map service AutoNavi for $1.5bn by Alibaba, secured the biggest corporate venturing exit of the quarter, after Alibaba had previously owned a 28% stake in the company.
Similarly China-based e-commerce company Jd.com was the biggest corporate venturing-backed initial public offering, after it was backed by China-based technology company Tencent.
