China-based online dating service Baihe is set to launch an investment fund aimed at companies operating in the wedding, dating and related sectors, China Money Network reported today.
The company has partnered private equity firm JD Capital and will also use the fund to identify opportunities for mergers and acquisitions.
Baihe’s move follows a partnership with artificial intelligence company Turing Robot in December last year to work on a bot that can predict the success of a relationship.
The size of the fund has not been disclosed. It will focus on companies based in China.
