Ben duPont, managing director and co-founder of open innovation fund Yet2Ventures, which is an investor in US-based mobile commerce point of sale (POS) technology provider Mobeam, has assumed the position of chairman of Mobeam’s board of directors.
Besides Yet2Ventures, Mobeam’s investors include Mitsui Global Investment, a subsidiary of Japan-based general trading company Mitsui & Co, venture fund Fairbridge Venture Partners, Ecrio, a mobile technology supplier, and venture capital firm DFJ Athena.
