China-based children’s toy brand Bloks has completed a RMB330m ($50.5m) series A round co-led by Legend Capital, the venture capital firm formed by conglomerate Legend Holdings, 36Kr reported on Friday.
Source Code Capital co-led the round, which also featured fellow venture capital firm Gaorong Capital and undisclosed existing investors.
Founded in 2014, Bloks provides educational building blocks used to help children develop their cognitive thinking and psychosocial abilities. The company intends to expand its product offering into a diversified ecosystem featuring animation and video games.
