Cybersecurity technology provider Blue Coat Systems has taken part in a $10m series B round closed by US-based enterprise risk management technology startup Appthority.
The round, which also featured, U.S. Venture Partners, Venrock and Knollwood Investment Advisory, closed near the end of 2015 but was only recently announced by Appthority.
Appthority provides risk management software that uses dynamic and behavioural analysis to discover hidden actions within apps, enabling companies to introduce policies that stop unwanted app behaviour.
The round follows a $6.25m series A round in 2012 co-led by Venrock and U.S. Venture Partners that also included business law firm Gunderson Dettmer.
