Audax Health, a US-based digital health company which creates personalized, incentivised plans for healthier living though its Zensey platform, has raised $20m in series B funding, led by Navigy Holdings. a wholly owned subsidiary of Blue Cross Blue Shield, Florida’s largest health insurer, with additional funds from investors including current board member Jack Rowe and Dan Rose, VP of partnerships at Facebook.
Previously, Audax Health has raised more than $35 million in funding from investors including health insurance and health service company Cigna, pharmaceuticals distribution company Cardinal Health, healthcare technology venture capital firm New Leaf Ventures, and Audax Health’s board members including Roger Ferguson, current CEO of TIAA CREF, Jack Rowe, former chairman and CEO of Aetna, and John Sculley, former CEO of Apple and president of PepsiCo.
The series B capital will primarily be dedicated toward product development, expansions of Audax Health’s mobile and engineering teams, and strategic partnerships with healthcare insurers and providers.
