BMW i Ventures, the corporate venture capital (CVC) unit of the eponymous Germany-based car maker, has made a strategic investment in Rever Moto, a US-based motorcycle-focused trip planner.
Founded by Mark Roebke and Justin Bradshaw in 2015, Rever’s free app works with its website to help riders create custom routes, track some epic rides and share their riding experiences across social platforms.
Ulrich Quay, head of BMW i Ventures, said: “We see Rever as one of the distinct players in the future of motorcycling as a connected experience and are excited to be part of further developing its future. BMW Motorcycle customers will be able to use the latest technology to enhance their rides and to share their passion for riding.”
