Brand Affinity endorsed with $7.5m

Brand Affinity Technologies, a celebrity endorsement company backed by Germany-based advertising company Ad Pepper Media, has raised $7.5m in a Series D round led by venture firm Matthew Pritzker Company.

Miramar and Ad Pepper were joined in the round by venture firms Newport Coast Investments, RimLight and Fulcrum Venture Capital.

The round takes Brand Affinity Technologies to more than $34m raised in its history.

The funding follows Brand Affinity Technologies raising $44m in gross billings 2011, a 70% year-over-year increase.

Ad Pepper also backed Brand Affinity $20m series C in 2010 and also backed prior rounds.

Backers of the series C also included the Ueberroth family’s CGI Opportunity Fund II and repeat investors
