Dr. Brian Hubert has joined US-based clean energy semiconductor developer MTPV Power Corporation as its new executive vice president to lead the energy company’s product and business development as it prepares for commercialization of its heat-to-electric power solutions.
Prior to joining MTPV Power Corporation, Hubert managed investments in advanced materials, semiconductors, power electronics and energy harvesting. at Applied Ventures, the corporate venturing division of US-based semiconductor component manufacturer Applied Materials, which he joined in 2007.
One of Applied Ventures’ portfolio companies is MTPV itself, having joined the company’s series B funding round in 2011.
