Indonesia-based enterprise accounting app developer BukuWarung has raised between $10m and $15m from investors including GMO Venture Partners, the corporate venturing unit for internet company GMO, TechCrunch has reported.
Soma Capital, Hof Capital and VentureSouq also took part along with individuals including unnamed partners at investment firm DST Global and micro venture capital fund 20VC.
Founded in 2019, BukuWarung provides micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in Indonesia with payments, accounting and financial services through its mobile app. The cash will help build headcount and further develop its product.
The round is startup’s third since the beginning of 2020, according to Crowdfundinsider. East Ventures led an April seed round backed by AC Ventures, Golden Gate Ventures, Tanglin Venture Partners and angel investors including Michael Sampoerna.
Quona Capital then led a pre-series A round for BukuWarung in July that also featured existing backers including East Ventures, AC Ventures, Golden Gate Ventures, Tanglin Venture Partners and Michael Sampoerna.
