TechStars has hired Don Burton (pictured) to mange its first Kaplan EdTech Accelerator class, sponsored by media group Washington Post’s education subsidiary, in New York City this summer.
Burton led business development for media group Walt Disney’s Disney Education Group and founded Parent Partners, a website for parents, which was later acquired by the Washington Post’s Kaplan division.
The three-month first Kaplan EdTech Accelerator starts in June with 10 entrepreneurs gaining $20,000.
