Buzzd, a US-based provider of city guides and social network on mobile phones, has raised its target $1.5m.
In a regulatory filing, Buzzd said it had raised $1.5m from 19 investors after raising $300,000 in June.
Its series A round came in October 2008 when Buzzd raised $3.2m from BlackBerry Partners Fund, a corporate venturing fund backed by phone maker Research In Motion, Qualcomm Ventures, the corporate venturing unit of network equipment company Qualcomm, and venture capital firms Greycroft Partners and Monitor Ventures.
