Capgemini captures WhiteSky

Digital consulting firm Capgemini agreed yesterday to buy WhiteSky Labs, an Australia-based consultancy focused on integration software producer MuleSoft, enabling enterprise software provider Salesforce to exit.

Founded in 2009, WhiteSky offers consultancy services for MuleSoft through a 150-strong staff spread across offices in Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines and Singapore.

Salesforce invested an undisclosed amount in the company through corporate venture capital unit Salesforce Ventures in November 2019. It had not revealed details of earlier financing.

Fernando Alvarez, Capgemini’s chief strategy and development officer, said: “MuleSoft provides the world’s leading platform for building application networks across any cloud and on-premise.

“The addition of WhiteSky Labs’ specialist and award winning expertise to our Australia and Asia operation will not only help to meet the digital transformation needs of our clients across the region, enabling them to unlock data across legacy systems, cloud apps and devices, but it will also bolster our expertise in this space that are very much in demand across the globe.”
