CBC Capital, a venture fund backed by corporates including News Corporation, WPP, CNC Group, and PCCW as limited partners, has helped US-based data centre power monitoring company IntelliBatt secure $22m.
The round was led by Columbia Capital and was joined by private investors and incoming executives.
Tom Barton, former chief executive of Rackable Systems, also joins Intellibatt as chief executive while Todd Ford, formerly president of Rackable Systems, joins as co-chief executive and chief operating officer.
Intellibatt was founded in 1992.
