China-based private equity firm China Broadband Capital has led a $44m round of series C funding into US-based networking company Pluribus Networks. There was also involvement from venture capital firms Menlo Ventures, New Enterprise Associates (NEA) and Mohr Davidow Ventures.
The new funds will be used to meet demands in China.
This brings the total raised by the company to $61.5m and includes $17.5m raised in a series B round led by NEA in April 2011.
In September 2012, Pluribus entered into partnership with Tibco Software.
