Ceterix Orthopaedics, a US–based provider of surgical tools to stitch tears in knees and other small spaces, has raised $19.5m in its series B round from a consortium led by Novo Ventures, the corporate venturing unit of the eponymous Denmark-based drugs company.
Venture capital firms Versant Ventures and 5AM Ventures reinvested after leading the $8.1m A round in October 2010.
