Alongside Qualcomm Ventures in the G round were venture capital firm VantagePoint Venture Partners and Rho Ventures.
News provider VentureWire said the round was done at a valuation of about $75m.
Since its launch nearly seven years ago, ChaCha has raised about $90m.
In January 2011, ChaCha raised $3m, including the $900,000 in outstanding warrants from Qualcomm Ventures, in the extension to the round led by venture capital firms VantagePoint Venture Partners and Rho Ventures in October.
