Karim Chehadé (pictured) has left his role as senior investment director for Ireland-headquartered credit information provider Experian’s corporate venture capital arm, Experian Ventures.
Chehadé was head of North America for Experian Ventures, having initially joined the company in 2014 as a programme manager. He was promoted to director of product management the following year and to senior director of small business in 2017, moving to Experian Ventures in 2018.
“Today is my last day at Experian and Experian Ventures, as I will be moving on to a new work adventure,” Chehadé revealed in a Linkedin post on Friday, without disclosing where his next position will be.
Formed in 2016, Experian Ventures, maintains a portfolio of 24 startups, its exits having included Grab, the ride hailing service with a $12.3bn market cap, and location data software producer PlaceIQ, which was acquired in January this year.
Chehadé held board observer positions on behalf of the unit in income intelligence software developer Steady and text message-based financial services provider Stackin. His departure follows that of Experian Ventures investment director Chan Yip Pang in June.
