Cinchcast, a US-based radio internet company backed by US-based food company Kraft Group, has raised $6m in a round led by financial services firm Guggenheim Partners.
In 2008 the company, then called BlogTalkRadio, raised a $4.6m series A round led by Scott Sipprelle, the founder of Westland Ventures, and Kraft Group.
The company runs BlogTalkRadio, a radio website, and it also provides audio services and publishing for companies such as media companies United Business Media and Business Insider, Germany-based technology company SAP and US-based retail company Sears. BlogTalkRadio was launched in 2006.
