Powdr, a US-based mountain resort and action sports camp owner and operator, has promoted Krista Parry (pictured) as senior vice president and chief innovation officer of its newly created subsidiary, Powdr Enterrises.
She previously spent 11 years at Powdr’s Park City Mountain Resort, where she has been the director of marketing since 2004.
Parry will work with Wade Martin, president of Powdr Enterprises, which provides events, sponsorships and media opportunities.
John Cumming, chief executive of Powdr, said: “Innovation is a key value of any successful company.
“Together, Wade and Krista form a powerful team that makes Powdr Enterprises a viable division of our company and helps us leverage the other areas of our company, including Powdr Resorts, Woodward Camps and Outside Television.”
Separately, bakers Sara Lee said Sally Grimes would become chief innovation officer of Hillshire Brands Company (Sara Lee’s North American business) after the spin-off of its International Coffee and Tea business.
