US-headquartered financial services firm Citi has invested in seven businesses through its $200m Impact Fund, it has announced.
The companies include LGBT community-focused banking app developer Daylight, fibre broadband service provider Flume, housing rental-oriented financial tool producer Jetty and Lacuna, a provider of public transport management software.
Pathstream, which has built a web portal for remote professional learning; Recycle Track Systems, a developer of waste and recycling management technology; and Stackshare, which is operating a software platform for digital product building, filled out the roster.
Formed in January 2020, Citi Impact Fund was initially equipped with $150m of capital before the corporate committed an additional $50m eight months later.
The vehicle targets minority and female entrepreneurs working on technologies and products in areas including professional development, sustainability, financial access and infrastructure. Its portfolio has 23 companies, the firm having revealed a batch of five deals in June this year.
