CoachHub collects $80m

HV Capital, the venture capital firm backed by publisher Holtzbrinck Publishing, has participated in an $80m series B2 round for Germany-based employee coaching software provider CoachHub.

The round also featured Draper Esprit, RTP Global, Signals Venture Capital, Partech and Speedinvest, the same six investors having supplied $30m in series B funding for the company in December 2020.

CoachHub has developed a software platform that enables enterprises to create a personalised, measurable coaching programme for their employees.

HV Capital (then HV Holtzbrinck Ventures) had joined Partech and Speedinvest to provide $6.6m in funding for CoachHub in August 2019. They joined RTP Global and Signals Venture Capital to add $4m in December, bringing the total raised by the company to $20.8m that year.

Yannis Niebelschütz, co-founder and chief sales director of CoachHub, said: “This latest round of funding will allow us to meet the ever-growing demand for digital solutions for training and personal development, which has been triggered by the pandemic.

“It also demonstrates the belief investors have in our platform and the value democratised coaching brings to forward-thinking organisations.”
