An undisclosed Fortune 500 technology firm has joined the consortium investing $20m for US-based Aria Systems’ series C round.
Venture capital firm InterWest Partners led the C round, with additional investment from peers Hummer-Winblad and Venrock. [Editor’s postscript: The technology firm is understood to be data manager EMC through its EMC Ventures corporate venturing unit that has just been set up.]
Aria Systems has now raised $34m in its three rounds since 2003.
