Visage Mobile, a US-based technology company which provides enterprise mobility management software-as-service (SaaS) to help companies manage their mobile device inventory, usage and costs, has secured an undisclosed amount of investment from Concur, a US-based company which provides travel and expense management technology.
Visage Mobile is already backed by Qualcomm and Motorola Solutions from previous funding rounds.
Bzur Haun, chief executive officer at Visage, said: “Our strategic relationship with Concur makes perfect sense, marrying our symbiotic strengths in business travel, expense management and mobility. Mobility enables productive business travel and travel drives increased mobile usage. Mobility is the last frontier of business expense management, and Visage’s data, analytics and cost management tools help drive the strategy and execution of an effective and efficient mobile program.”
John Torrey, executive vice president, corporate strategy at Concur, said: “Our ongoing strategic partnership and new investment in Visage provide Concur customers with more mission-critical tools to address mobility cost management, data and analytics. We are committed to driving the innovation agenda for the travel industry and smart, entrepreneurial companies like Visage are helping to shape the future of business travel.”
This is the third strategic initiative between the two companies.
