Nasdaq-listed travel company Concur, a travel and expense management solutions provider, has launched a $150m fund called the “Concur Perfect Trip Fund, according to news provider TechCrunch.
Concur simultaneously invested $2m in a seed round for Israel-based Evature, a company that has developed Expert Virtual Agent (EVA) which enables free-text search for online travel. The investment is part of the Concur Perfect Trip Fund in which Concur looks to invest in platforms which it can integrate with its own Concur Connect platform.
Evature is the latest in a series of companies now associated with the Pefect Trip Fund. Other investments include buuteeq, a cloud marketing system for hotels, hotel search site Room 77, Indian online travel portal Cleartrip, and TaxiMagic.
